Hi, I’m Chuck Lubbert, owner of Starfleet Moving. I’ve spent more than 20 years helping Arizona households and businesses move, including the heavy and awkward items.

A piano, a safe or a hot tub can turn a simple move into a lot of questions. Will it fit through the door? What about the stairs? Does anything need to come apart? That’s where experience makes a difference.
I’ve spent more than 20 years helping people move in Arizona. I know that the item itself is only part of the job. The pickup, the route through each property and the final position all need to make sense together.
Moving services requested through Heavy Item Movers are provided by Starfleet Moving. My crew and I carry out the moving work. This site focuses on the larger, heavier and more delicate items that often need their own plan.
When you get in touch, tell me what you need moved and where it’s going. Mention the stairs, narrow doorways, side gates or anything else you’re concerned about. If you have the model, dimensions or weight, that helps too. You don’t need every answer before starting the conversation.
I’d rather ask a few useful questions now than leave important details until moving day. We’ll talk through the item, preparation and work you need before confirming the move.

Heavy Item Movers focuses on specialty moving requests in Chandler, Mesa, Gilbert, Tempe and Queen Creek. Starfleet Moving provides the crew and moving services for those requests.
Safes, pianos, hot tubs, pool tables, heavy furniture and equipment can each need different preparation. We’ll review your actual item and access rather than treating every large object as the same job.

THE ACCESS
Walk us through the route.
Include stairs, hallway turns, gates, elevators and loading access at both locations. For a same-property move, explain the current and final positions.
THE WORK
Be clear about what you need.
Pickup, transport, placement, dismantling and reassembly need an agreed scope. Utility connections, servicing and other specialist work should be discussed separately.
